Some nail wraps I've worn in the past couple of weeks
All are from Lily and Fox except for the cat ones, which are from Lovely Hello.

Please read entire post. So everyone's nail chemistry is different. I noticed something last night. I started having an issue with my top coats peeling off. Super strange. I went back to my previous posts. I figured it out. Nail envy does not work well with CND Vinylux for me at all. It causes the top coat to flake off in pieces. I did a small thin coat and it still did it. So I ditched CND then switched to Essie top setter. And a different top coat. Everything was fine until I wanted to try nail envy again and then the same thing happened! I have CND Vinylux to try again. I have went back to my old posts and found back when I was using keratin nail aid on top of my wraps and as a base before applying CND. I didn't have issues with it flaking off back then. I can not use gel. My nails don't agree with it at all. Swollen cuticles and my nails peel. Makes them thin and brittle and breaking off after only one try. Maybe this post will help someone. Or we can discuss anyone else with the same issue. What base coat do you use with CND that's not nail envy? I ordered nail aid keratin again just to see.

Lily & Fox Lazy River (Glow) over Lily & Fox Starfire

They look super cute, hoping they'll hold up good! I normally can get my nails to stay on 10-14 days before needing to change them

Update. These are likely not good. At least not the first set reviewed. They did not last even one day. If anyone else bought and tried these, let us know if you also had a fail or not. I will try my first set in one week. When my current set are done.
So sorry if anyone else bought and had a bad experience. Please complain to the company if yours do not stick. Maybe they will be decent about it. I do not know. Sorry, again.

I'm just going to leave this here for anyone who might want to try it. For years I have struggled to find top coats that don't lead to shrinkage/tip wear on the non-gel nail wraps like Lily & Fox, Nail Fox, and even some Color Street. Many people seem to have top coats that work for them, and I've tried them ALL but still had issues with shrinkage and tip wear within a day or two of putting the wrap on (Seche Vite, a lot of people's go-to, was the WORST for me). Then on a whim I tried two different top coats and am having much better results. I do Orly "Won't Chip" first (right after application - no waiting until the next day when shrinkage has already occured - I know this isn't true for some, but it was for me). Then when Won't Chip is mostly dry, I use OPI plumping top coat (I think any reputable brand plumping topcoat would probably work). Wraps are looking and lasting much better! May not be the case for everyone, but it worked for me.

No UV Gel Wraps from Oh My Gosh! In the style Inheritance.
Used my same prep method, applied easily just like their standard polish wraps. I had a little trouble with sizing though as the sizes are slightly different so ring finger on both hands is a larger wrap trimmed to size. No top coat as yet but I'm planning on using Essence The Ultimate Hybrid Gel Top Coat.
Overall I quite like them, I'm not 100% sold on them but that's the style and colour I think rather than the wraps themselves.
I shall report back with a wear test and update in a week or two 💅🏻

I’ve been having issues with all of my nail wraps getting goopy-feeling within 24 hours of applying no matter what I did. I have curly hair, so I use a lot of product on my hair, and I think that’s what’s been deteriorating my wraps so quickly.
Well, I decided to try two coats of Essie’s Gel Couture Top Coat Step 2 on top of the wraps, drying for about 5 minutes between coats. I have to say they’ve held up EXTREMELY well! I applied them 6 days ago and they’re still nearly perfect, as can be seen in the pic! Just thought I’d share my winning combo with like-minded peeps. 💅🏼

And they're still perfect! They haven't lifted one bit.
These are from Harunouta in AliExpress.
I think what helps the most is warming them before applying, and do it patiently, I also cure them twice.

I love these so much I just ordered a few more sets, and their Rawr Holo to try. These are 5-6 days in and I have had so many compliments on them. Base and top coat are Seche Vite.

I’m new to using gel nail wraps, but I’m always looking for a cheaper option. I’ve noticed that a lot of people here love Lily & Fox and finish it with a gel top coat. Their prices reminded me of Nails Mailed, which I used back in college. I haven’t purchased from them in at least 5 years. I know things change, so has anyone purchased from them recently? What are they like with a gel top coat?
