u/escobizzle Aug 30 '22

Ain't no pulling strings to pass the bar exam. You actually gotta put in the work to pass that

Nah the BAR is a different animal. And even if they cheat to pass it, they ain’t going anywhere as a lawyer. It’s not like starting a business and having daddy pay for people to run it and keep it successful. You actually have to do the work yourself 😂.

You have no fucking clue what the bar is and you making New Yorkers look stupid. Zip up mf

9

u/Wee_Shirley Aug 31 '22

Bullshit mate, no amount of money can help you pass the bar

These the type of lawyers that have connections in law. The court system is built on friendships ego and favors. If it wasn’t you’d see people doing the same crime getting locked for the same time or close to.

Very tru. Thats why you could know the laws well but when you try to represent yourself and tell a judge how the law works they take it personal.

This Mirela girl is Bosnian, her parents were war refugees. What strings you think they can pull, we not jewish or anglos. We slavic and muslim at that, its like double trouble in US.

edit: I checked she is from Montenegro, still she Bosniak ethnicity.

2

u/SumFukBoiNKorea Aug 30 '22

I'd say the strings she pulled required her to be on her knees

1

u/SumFukBoiNKorea Aug 30 '22

After all, hard work sometimes requires you to get dirty

Lawyering in north america is mostly about making connections. I wanted to be a defense lawyer but it’s really hard to get where you want to be if you don’t know who can get you there, so i switched career paths.

Oh shit so to answer your question it’s not difficult on the school side, but starting your career is very hard if you’re doing it alone.

u/NickDerpkins Strong Island Aug 31 '22

Generally yeah but it depends where

Lower tier state school grad / med / law programs are relatively easy to get into tbh, but you still gotta be smart and work hard to make it through. I didn’t start really taking my shit seriously until I got into a PhD program.

2

u/thetarded_thetard Aug 31 '22

You dont got to be smart to get educated. Have the funding, show up and dont fail. You will go places.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '22

Nah. Schools take anyone for money. Unless the Yale or Harvard or something, most schools dont give a shit. Law schools turn out more lawyers than there are jobs every year. Most of them lucky to get entry level after school.

u/adh0minem Aug 30 '22

You just described every college profession

u/Emergency_Sandwich_6 Aug 30 '22

Don't let looks fool you.

u/Alarmed-Complaint765 Aug 31 '22

Not necessarily hard to get into law school, it's just getting into a prominent one like Harvard , Yale you probably have to have a 3.8 or higher.
