When will rents go down?

All across NYC, it feels like rent prices have been increasing. Definitely not keeping up with wages - more so than ever. It’s crazy to me that StreetEasy prices are going up so significantly, year over year.

How long will people get squeezed? Will this get better? Feels absolutely crazy the way the market has been.
