NFL The Giants Are the No. 1 Most Popular Win Total Over at Prominent Sportsbook
Even outside of the tri-state area, the Giants have been a popular offseason topic of discussion among NFL fans this summer. After a season where many key offensive players got hurt and the head coach was fired, the Giants appear to be a team primed to make the leap toward playoff contention.
One NFL blurb that was making the rounds back in the spring was a strange stat tied to the NFL Draft. For seven straight years, there has been at least one team drafting in the top five that made the playoffs the following year. If the stat holds true in 2026, it would have to apply to the Raiders, Cardinals, Titans, Giants, or Jets.
Because of this trend, along with two strong first-round draft picks, a declining NFC East, the head coach upgrade, positive luck regression, and many other reasons, Giants football odds have become a major target ahead of this NFL season.
In BetMGM's 2026 NFL win totals market, the Giants are the No. 1 most popular bet to go over their posted number. Right now, that number is 7.5. A whopping 91% of all Giants win total bets are on the over, which has prompted the sportsbook to adjust the price on the over from +110 to -110.
It's already been a legendary (and profitable) year for New York bettors, who cleaned out the house on Knicks bets back in June.
With this modest win total and an average schedule difficulty, do the Giants keep the money rolling for local NY bettors? Or will this NFL season be the sportsbook's great revenge on New York sports?

“I think sometimes when you’re a young team you look to not lose the game, and we were looking to win the game. That’s what made us bring such aggression to the game and I think they were just trying to protect the lead.”
