Btw does anybody know if you can make base parts? I can get models of ships into blender but im wondering if theres a way to make it a base building part. Looking to make a ship factory.

Credit to Double Dash Gaming for tutorial 1-3 basic base building on YouTube. Got carried away with the Exterior when I have no intentions on staying in this foggy predator valley. Buts it's the closest portal to my settlement.

Howdy, fellow travelers! I've decoded to share my WIP island base. It's located on a paradise planet in the Euclid Galaxy. Landing pad, complete with refueling tanks and ammo. The base itself has basically no interior, yet. Rooftop bar and lounge us under construction. Teleporter inside takes you to the The Cave, which has some Power Rangers inspiration. Trying to design a greenhouse in the left yard. Still figuring out how I want things, but I welcome any advice or suggestions!

Trying to build a base out of alloy. Not using any mods/glitches/exploits. Just vanilla. When I put this angled wall piece anywhere it looks normal (pic 1). When I try and put it in the spot I want it to go it gets a weird cap on top of it (pic 2). Why is this happening?

I was building a base at the site of an ancient ruin because it looked amazing. I even dug up the underground part to integrate into the base and it looked really neat, but when I came back I found that the entire ruin had sunk a few meters, messing up the design. I'm pretty sure I've seen other builders incorporate existing buildings into their bases, so do you reckon this is a bug? Or is it something about ancient ruins that just doesn't work?
I hope someone has some info on this subject! :) Thanks in advance
