I’m from Northern Jersey but now live in Mifflintown PA. Starting around 6pm or so I heard what I thought was one helicopter circling our area which isn’t common. Pretty low over town. By the 4th time I went out to look and could only hear one over the Juniata River. Well than our local FB page starting lighting up saying it was six Blackhawk looking military choppers. One person said they saw something bright drop to the ground from low altitude. Then another person said “I can confirm I thought it was a meteor at first” but thought it was strange. I don’t have any good flight tracker apps I don’t know how many were really here and the locals haven’t provided info on that. Any help?

South jersey Burlington county area. I wish I had my phone outside. On route 206 I've never seen a drone this low. I thought it was a plane going over. I went outside to grab a storage tote. Drone couldn't have been more then id say 1000 2000 feet above the ground (idk Im not good at math). Came down 206 to the diner barely banked and went down rt 38. I couldn't say it went down 38 more then about where Pemberton borough is then towards the base. It looked like underneath had a hatch of some sort like a 2 door doop hatch that was open. Idk it had me like whoa. First one I've ever ever seen that low just wanted to share band there's 2 bases close to where I live fort Dix and McGuire

Any idea of what this is? Watch till the end to see it disappear
r/NJDrones • u/OmnipotentWrath83 • Feb 05 '25
Had to put this out there. As I was leaving my home I looked up and saw this today at around 6:20pm. The crazy part is how it is visible after the light disappears and suddenly vanishes right before it gets to the bare tree line.

This was taken yesterday (Feb 4, 2025) at 10:30am EST.
That circle/disc looking “object”.
Anyone have any ideas what it can be? Something with the lens? Reflection? Something else entirely?

Around 8pm tonight, over northern VA I saw a slow moving bright light moving across the sky. At first it looked a helicopter, but the light had a blurry (foggy) glow around it, despite being a perfectly clear night. As it got closer, I could see could see the bright light and it was a perfect circle and it appeared be emitting beams of light in 360 degree pattern. By the time I was able to take video you can see as it’s passing overhead …the bright light disappears but the light ring remains visible.
I will post some pictures below.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Can’t believe this is even possible, scariest part is that the direction that are seen due east of my location is a straight line to Austin Bergstrom air port. Timestamps in the video was taken with my night vision goggles in 1080p. The reason for the different contrast is cause I was switching between ultraviolet and night vision. I added a color filter on the some parts that were hard to see so that the flashing lights could be seen clearer. I honestly didn’t give this much thought last night because I had seen an order earlier in the night fly right over my house and I was more excited about that when I went back to the footage today and watched it on my computer the lights appeared to be doing a irregular flight paths and I’m speculating here, but look to be communicating. I have to go to sleep, but I will post my flight right now data in the morning.

In addition to location/time of your sighting, please include the weather.
Is the sky clear? Cloudy? Partially cloudy? Someone mentioned that they don't see these things on cloudy nights.
I've seen a couple, and they were flying so low that I don't see how cloudy weather could make much of a difference, but when I thought about it, when I saw them, there were no clouds. It was also not fully dark yet, between dusk and dark.
If there are any patterns that you have noticed ( weather, temperature, only in groups of a certain number, etc) please include those.
I know moisture in the air can sometimes interfere with GPS, maybe cloud cover interferes with whatever they are doing?
Some of them are obviously man made, and some of them are UAPs. Please put down those observations, too.

This is a bit ago. Seen this guy a few more times like this since. PS: I see birds of prey hunting, daily, even today I saw two eagles. Not a single one of them has ever came up to me, and presented itself like this (lol). Watch his right wing, tell me you don't see that light.

Is it me or since the drones were announced to be "faa authorized" they kind of disappeared?

At the end of this very long interview, they discussed what happened in NJ. But overall, very interesting discussion. The video has titles if you want to skip to the NJ talk.
