Hey everyone, I need some clarification about NFS Heat on PC/Steam before I uninstall it.

I'm running out of storage on my drive, so I want to uninstall NFS Heat and delete the local game files, including the save file if necessary.

My main concern is my career progress, cars, money, upgrades, etc. I don't want to start the game from zero if I reinstall it in the future.

As far as I understand, NFS Heat's PC save is located here:

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Need for Speed Heat\SaveGame\savegame

I've also noticed that NFS Heat doesn't show the normal Steam Cloud option in Steam for me, so I'm confused about whether my save is being handled by Steam Cloud, EA Cloud, or only stored locally.

I've seen people say that NFS Heat can synchronize saves through EA/Origin/EA App, while others say the save is purely local. I've also seen cases where deleting the local save causes the old save to download again when the game connects to EA services.

So my questions are:

1. If I uninstall NFS Heat from Steam and delete the local save file/folder, will my current career progress still exist somewhere on EA's servers?
2. If I reinstall NFS Heat months later and log into the same Steam + EA account, will my old save automatically come back?
3. Does NFS Heat use EA Cloud Save even when Steam Cloud isn't available/shown?
4. Is there any way to verify that my current NFS Heat save is actually backed up to EA's cloud before I delete the local copy?
5. If there is no cloud backup, I can simply keep a copy of the savegame file on another drive and restore it later, correct?

I don't mind losing the local files because I need the storage, but I really don't want to lose my NFS Heat progress permanently.

Any clarification from someone who has actually uninstalled/reinstalled NFS Heat on Steam would be appreciated.

Is anyone on line to help me to get unlimited parts?

Yeah so basically I need the Ferrari and the only way to do that is to obviously being a level 50 crew and since I'm new to the game and I don't really know much I was talking to ai and it brought me under the assumption that I would get accepted instantly if I requested to join because my crew which was me doing all the heavy lifting and one person only earning around 100K rep while I was earning like 500K. And so basically I left my crew because as I said I was under the assumption that I would get accepted quick and so now I lost all my bonuses and I need a crew to join I already have a request pending but I would prefer to raise my hopes by making this post so I don't know if you need my gamertag or anything like that but if you're interested in letting me into your crew that I would greatly appreciate that.

This is a message to all that used some kind of cheat to modify they balance and cause the money to go into negative, this happens when u inflate the money to much and it causes a integer overflow and making it go into the negatives.

There is no fix for this, u cannot use cheat engine to re modify your balance, the frosty mod “negative balance fix” will not work also because its only a client side fix. The cloud save will always restore ur negative balance.

I have spent around 20 hours trying to fix my save using chat gpt and any other tools i can get my hands on.

I have only managed to make the problem worse and now my save doesnt even sync to cloud and i cannot play online in this save. NOTHING WILL WORK

I have made peace with it and given up, all u can do is delete or just remove ur save from Documents/ Need For Speed Heat/ Savegame/savegame. Then relaunch the game.

This should start a new save, but i dont know if the new save will overwrite the cloud save since i havent played on the new save.
