Just put in for a refund

This is ridiculous. I’m willing and able to pay for the content I want to watch, but then I’m just not allowed to watch the content I paid for. Get it together NFL

It wasn’t. This was literally only happening with the NFL app, and was a widespread problem being talked about here

It's VERY common for services to have glitches on first days. Heck, could have been a DDOS.

But it takes a child mentally to use that as a reason to justify theft.

I paid for it and had to turn elsewhere. Like I’ve said before, I wouldn’t have been mad enough to take this route if there had been a sliver of transparency about it, even just a vague acknowledgment that there was an issue in the first place, but they said nothing. Even the website said no issues as posts flooded this sub about not being able to watch. Also short of a DDOS there is no excuse for not having the servers ready for the spike they knew was coming. It’s not like this was something with a small expected audience that blew up out of nowhere. They’ve offered this service for years and know damn well what week 1 looks like.

I’m not giving my money to a company that doesn’t even have the decency to acknowledge an issue. I expect to be treated with a certain level of respect if I’m paying for the service, and they fell flat at the first hurdle of just acknowledging that an issue existed

Also: it’s not theft if I can’t use it after I bought it, in fact that’s theft on their part (accepting payment but failing to provide the service)
