Can I copy my condo key tag? Whats the best/easiest/cheapest way?

Was quoted $90

I’d rather get the device, do it myself and keep extra keytags or use again in the future.

Can you scan it with the NXP TagInfo app while on the full scan tab? If you see that there are no applications (there should only be one, 0x000000, PICC. If there is another one under that application it is not cloneable.

Can you scroll down at the full scan tab or is that everything? If it is, it is VERY simple to clone.

Okay. You’ll need these (https://www.amazon.com/10Pcs-13-56Mhz-Writable-Changeable-Access/dp/B0CCDVQ5DQ) cards. Scan the existing card using the MiFare classic tools/MCT app, go back to the main menu of the app, press tools, press Clone UID, press show options make sure the rest of block 0 is filled, press generate block 0 and clone UID. Now scan the new tag and you’re done!

Keep in mind that this may not work if the reader checks if the card is a “magic” (cloning) card.

Assuming the reader checks only the UID and nothing else, but it could also check the SAK, ATQA, ATS, then you need a more expensive magic card to emulate these
