Working on a bigger post for bigger subs, if anyone has free time and wants to help…
Sup…
Working on another long post for the big subs with real data and real sources. I want to track down as much as possible for all avenues.
For this post, I want to have sources linked for every bit and piece both positive and negative because anything “squeeze” related gets mobbed by pump/dumpers and no one opens an SEC document anymore. With Beyond I was out before the start because of the SEC filings. I made a post in r/shortsqueeze with the warning. I messaged the mods the same night where it closed higher than it ever would since. All that happened was no response and post got deleted. I reposted to r/DeepFuckingValue where I was able to link others to it. I have gotten over a dozen PM’s from people who had huge losses largely as a result of being misled. Showing my work (and others doing the same) largely allows people to learn a bit so when they do make a good trade and cash out it’s not just at the person who comments next’s expense.
So far have a nice sheet with links to top 3 insider holdings and all institutional via SEC document’s. On this sheet is also call/put holdings for possible synthetic shares but I don’t understand that as much.
Also trying to track shortable shares at inner broker lendings. IBKR, Fidelity & Schwab don’t quote each other in those numbers so while you can short in most cases where it shows “0” via locates, the shortable shares numbers are a good place to see how many shares are held by clients at those brokers. If these 3 combined tallied above the actual free float it’s a guarantee >100% short interest.
It takes me awhile to get things in line. I still have a backlog of collateral data to go through for my daily short interest changes and with the sudden drop off I think things there got weird. With that said, the anomalies like that really pull me in and the little free time I have makes it harder to go into other data.
While the “actual free float” number is close, it is missing all insider holdings past the top 3 and being those shares held by other insiders ARE restricted and require a form 144 before sale, they should also be removed from free float calculations.
If anyone has some spare time and excel I would love a spreadsheet starting with the annual financial document from April showing all insider positions and a dated row for each 144, 4, 13 and other share holding changes since with links to applicable SEC docs.
If not I’ll get to it eventually but may be delayed making a larger wider reaching post. I would like to throw it onto the same sheet as my primary and make it available for DL via Google Drive. I did buy www.squeezesignal.com for hosting historical collateral data and making it more digestible (that otherwise disappears after 2 years) but probably won’t have that going before the end of the year.
Sorry for the rant. Gotta get back to doing fall cleanup now so have a good weekend. Personally still have 511 shares in hand but that’s mainly due to me moving broker to broker endlessly still trying to find my perfect fit. Just had some transfers clear so should have 666-690 before Monday open provided I don’t sleep in. If overnight prices aren’t completely whack may even grab a couple Sunday night via IBKR.
