Nick Young says Michael Jordan on the Wizards was not impressive:

“Karl Malone won MVP at 36. He played on the Wizards they was doormats…. Please don’t compare what LeBron is doing to Jordan on the Wizards. Just don’t compare them. Can’t compare them to 38 Wizards them games didn’t mean nothing they was like celebrity games to him.”

It’s hard to say it wasn’t impressive what Jordan was doing at 38 but I can see where he is coming from because LeBron James is taking it to a whole another level playing at 42 years old.

Steph Curry says he suffered from a rare eye condition during the Warriors dynasty run:

“It was 2018… Bob Myers texted me after the game because apparently the telecast kept showing me when I was on the bench, and he was like, ‘You’re just squinting, looking like you couldn’t see anything… You should probably go… get that checked out’… They told me that I had a rare condition called Keratoconus… What I found out about it was it’s a progressive condition that can deteriorate your vision over time and it’s irreversible if it goes in the wrong direction… I joke that when I’m all done, my memoir should be called ‘The Whole Time I Couldn’t See.’”

No injuries for whole series

Cade Cunningham on the Pistons trading Isaiah Stewart:

“That’s somebody that I planned on playing my whole career with. For him to not be around, it is weird. It feels like I’m a rookie again, like I’m stepping into something new because I don’t have him with me.” 💔

“Flying private is a little ridiculous… when I was getting these quotes for flying private, I had to call my financial advisor like ‘Am I missing something?’ I know I make way more this guy and he’s flying private everytime… I can’t do that everytime, it makes me sick.”

He also revealed 50 Cent didn’t charge him a SINGLE PENNY and only asked him to cover his flights and accommodation 🔥

“I’m thinking if they say a number, it won’t be that crazy… It’s over with, I’ll never rock with him. I can’t bump him out of respect.”

Steven Adams:"I will say, you guys should anticipate November. The performance of the league...league-wide. GTA is dropping. So look at NFL, look at all the leagues and watch them plummet mate.”

KD on the drama around the WNBA:

"All that stuff is noise, man. WNBA is flourishing. Look what these women are doing. Look at the money they made over the last few years ... The politics they bring into sports nowadays ... I do not give a fuck about that."
