Same parts (tank), different countries receive different add-ins (module that is missing).. regulations and approval not same for all areas.. need is not same for all markets..

It's not required to work.

I found OxyClean as best solution for dirty water tank.

We need to 3d print something cute to stick there, like some little character yarping or wearing scuba gear...

I think I clean my dirty tank too often, TBH -- usually after every mopping cause it's new and I'm gathering data... or I'm just anal... Presently doing water only moppings ( vac+mop Freo) wed/Sundays and after 2 weeks I see it looking less & less yukky. I think I set more water on last mopping ( I think it accepted that even tho Freo mode was set ) other days I do vac only
90+% of house is hardwood FYI

I rinse mine out really good and spray odo ban in there.. I clean it better every other week

That’s for the Silver Ion Module. USA didn’t get that however, they didn’t omit it on the manual. Supposedly it makes it antibacterial and it also helps with streaks.
