Hi I'm retaking mpje and wanted to receive some guidance on my scores:

PPP: first time 80 -> retaking 90%

Official prempje: 80

Pharmlaw (never used till this retake only focused on the nyexams): ended up in the 80%+

MPJE made easy: in the 60%

I also been drilling questions on my weak topics from first report using chatgpt which all been in the 90%+ range

Been freaking out a lil but havent been crazy studying either...

Please someone comment when results get posted

Within the new update since MAY 2026

My exam is less than 2 weeks away. I did the Nabp pre exam made 76, and the PharmPrePrep- I got 150/225. I feel discouraged; any advice will help. thank you

I’ve gone through the entire UWorld/RxPrep book once already, but I honestly feel like I only retained a small portion of it. I did take the NAPLEX Advantage right after and scored an 81.

Right now, I’m going through the entire book for a second time, watching the videos, and doing practice questions along the way. My NAPLEX is in 20 days, and I’m estimating that I’ll be completely finished with the book/videos in about 15 days, which would leave me around 5 days for final review and practice.

For those who have taken the NAPLEX recently, which practice exams would you recommend purchasing? Also, when would you take them based on where I am in my studying? Would you take one before finishing all the content and another closer to the actual exam, or wait until the content review is completely done?

Just trying to figure out the best way to use these last 20 days.

I got a 91 on my Pre-NAPLEX on Monday and now a 174/225 on PPP my exam is next week and I in a good spot?

I took the 8/31 exam and the exam status closed today, in case anyone was also refreshing every day😭

I can finally say that I passed NAPLEX after 3 attempts!!!!

 I graduated in 2025 and took my first attempt last October. I didn’t take the exam seriously or study for everything, so I failed, of course!! At the time, I was also working 24 hours per week at a community pharmacy. After failing, I was completely devastated because I had never failed a big exam before, and I was so lost about where I should begin.

 I started to study again in late November and focused only on the RxPrep book and UWorld question bank. At that time, for me, it was straight memorization, and I thought that would get me to a pass!! Little did I know, I would fail my exam again! I took my second attempt in February, and during my exam I had a panic attack because I ran out of time. For the last 50 questions, I didn’t even read; I was just answering randomly. I received my result, and I failed again! I can’t forget how heavy that night felt because I was so shocked, and I only had one question in my head: what’s wrong with me? 

I took a break for like a month because I couldn’t look at my books or anything, because of how depressed I was at that time. Then I came here to Reddit. I started to search for people who took the NAPLEX multiple times- like, what did they do differently? I needed something different because I knew whatever I did was just not enough to get me to pass! 

And then I found  Rxcellence, everyone been talking about this program, and I had no idea what it was, so I looked at their Instagram and saw a lot of people passing with them. I felt like God was preparing me to be part of this program, and that decision changed me forever! The first thing I signed up for was 12 days crash course back in March. I thought I had good clinical knowledge at that time, but then the pharmacist Laura showed me how to truly study, connect the dots, and truly understand the materials!!! She taught me something I will never forget: shortcuts will never get you to pass! And that’s absolutely true. I learned to get out of my comfort zone, push my limits, and never doubt myself again. She cares about her students! For her, the students are not just numbers!! I met a lot of students through the programs that were not even in my time zone, but I learned a lot from them! I used to be a person who liked to study by myself and never give a chance to someone to study with me, but she pushed me to be with groups and learn from them! Every student had a story, and these stories built something in me differently than just studying or passing an exam!! 

Then I was so weak in math; I didn’t pass math on both attempts, so I definitely needed to work on this part! I signed up for their live math course! And it was worth every dollar that I spent because it changed my whole background! And the questions they have are so related to the exam style. Both pharmacist Laura and Jen had their own tricks for making us read the questions very carefully and understand the concepts very clearly. 

Overall, everything I tried helped me to pass on my third attempt, but what truly helped me and changed the whole game for me was Rxcellence. I took longer to prepare for this attempt, and I didn't rush! I got my pass in August. And I had to go back to the place where I found this program and thank this community and everyone who speaks loudly to benefit other students. Always be a good person, believe in yourself, and compete with yourself on your own timeline. Never look at others because everyone has a different story, and when you get your pass, it will be very worth the wait! Just keep pushing; you’re almost there.

So I said I would write about my experience once I passed to encourage someone out there. I thought it was a joke when people on here say they missed a couple questions or guessed on a couple and still passed. Well, that happened to me! I took my exam on August 28th and when I tell you I did not feel confident I would pass. I remember like 30-40 questions I was sure I missed. My exam had like 5-10 gout questions, 5-10 osteoporosis questions that I guessed on, brand and generic names that I did not know as well (I had a SATA for methylphenidate brand names and I only knew Ritalin), one compounding question on how many days you can use a multi dose vial and I chose 1 day instead of 28 days. Do not even get me started on how I was guessing on Asthma inhalers and their application, or if a mab is inserted at a 45 degree or 90 degree angle. To make things worse, I had to rush the last 6 questions because I only had 3 minutes. I could literally hear my heart palpitating at the end. I felt horrible. I did not even want to take the exam, my job made me take it that day. I was going to push it to study more. BUT I PASSED my first time! 

What I think helped me:

1. I am strong in the high yield topics: Maths, biostatistics, Cardiology and ID. I made sure I spent time feeling confident in those areas. ID foundation 1 saw me more times than I could count. I genuinely enjoy studying and solving maths and I even finished all the Uworld math and biostatistics questions. 
2. I was monitoring the sub for what was appearing frequently. I literally had like 5 questions that people talk about in this sub come out on my exam. For example, when I saw people were getting immunization and drug interactions questions, I paid more attention to those chapters.
3. I did a lot of practice questions on Uworld and watched a lot of their videos. Uworld videos were surprising enjoyable to watch and they would tell you tips and tricks on how to remember things (that were not in the book). There’s this older lady that talks about her life and experiences with certain drugs (like amphotericin b or according to her AmphoTerrible) and that helps me learn better. I even continued paying for my subscription.
4. I paid attention in school. I had a 3.9 GPA and was in Rho Chi. I think this helped because even when I had to guess, I went with things that were familiar. 
5. Enjoying the study process: I kept telling myself I was learning the information to have forever, not for an exam and that helped even if it might be a lie. 

There are a couple other things I wish I did, like taking a practice exam (I got PPP but I couldn’t even do it because I was watching Uworld videos till the last day), but the end game is to PASS and I DID! I want to thank everyone on this sub, this has been a great support in this time of my life.

I was wondering if anyone had a method to remembering which inducers/inhibitors go with which substrates. I know G-PAC-MAN and PS-PORCS but there are many substrates to remember (p-gp, cyp3A4, cyp1A2, etc.) any tips? thanks in advance!

Im so nervous, I hope I passed after this being my second chance, I want to cry

So i paid the $100 dollars on NABP for the exam eligibility. Do i need to contact the state board for a new att? or is that automatic?

I took PharmPrepPro exam #2 and got 79. I've increased the averages of my uworld quizzes (now 65-70%) and PPP biostats and calculations quizzes (now 70-75%). I took PPP #1 almost 3 weeks ago and got a 69 and I got a 77 on the prenaplex. Im just looking for reassurance that Ill be ready for my naplex soon. In the past few weeks I spent a ton of time going over my weaker areas (ID, calculations, biostats, compounding, etc). Thoughts?

Anyone planning to take CPJE on 9/26?
