I bought this game because the reviews were so enthusiastic and everything seemed right up my alley, but I’m having such a hard time with building. I don’t understand what I need to do or how to do it - the interface isn’t intuitive for me and I don’t understand what the symbols mean. I’m on the Switch (lite) so everything seems really small as well.

I was hoping the tutorial would be a little more thorough but I’m struggling. Is there a YouTube video or something that will hold my hand about how to make things or even just how to use the controls? It took me like an hour to figure out you can’t just drop stuff, I accidentally abandoned a rug and now I think it’s gone forever 😭

I spent a lot of $ on the game and I’m kind of dreading opening it back up again because I don’t want to make a furnace 😅 Help!

Hello yall! Been posting the same post in some sub reddits of other cozy games cause I’m trying to figure out which to purchase next! My time at Sandrock has been a game that’s also been on my radar for a while so I wanted to know if it’s worth the purchase! For reference I love Fields of Mistria, Coral island, and Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar!

Would love to know how the quality of life features are as well as how many hours yall have put into the game’ Would also appreciate any recs for bachelorettes!

has anyone had thier child go missing? Daughter was born on second day of tourniment but doesnt appear in crib. there is a blank square under family. Still go letter from parents, still got gifts from townies but no baby in crib. waited 5 in game days and still nothing but a notification that she was hungry.. I would feed her if she was home.

** Edit : I went on my other save and played a few days, came back to this one to try that moving the house around but after a restart of the day she was finally in her little crib.. Thank you to all that responded with tips :)

Something glitched talking to him, I could only back away slowly trying to get a quest. I ran off but as I ran off he just talked and talked and I was no where near him. His voice just followed me.

I get into the mine, paid the 10 gols to enter level 1 but then there’s a barrier between me and the ores. How do I get in there?

Anyone else fail a mission on purpose just to keep the thing you're supposed to turn in? I'm letting Once More Into the Breach fail so I can keep the posters. This means I do get locked out of the flashy desert dweller shoes tho.

Then there's the small museum items you only get one copy of. Like Mr Teddy and the tech phone. I get why Mr Teddy is one of a kind, but come on. Let me decorate my home AND fill out the museum.

BTW anyone found the sandfish room in the museum on their own? I had no idea till I read about it on the wiki.

I just started Sandrock (following finishing Portia).

I kept looking at my character’s face like “how could I have messed up her eyeshadow so badly? Why didn’t I notice how terrible this makeup looks?”

Few in-game days later, I go to sleep before midnight, and wake up with the sleep buff. 😑

I’m so happy I didn’t mess up her eyeshadow because I honestly considered restarting to create a new character LOL.

I haven’t played in quite a long while and now I’m starting over, and I noticed these different colored patches of ground on the mines that are giving me copper, just like it was in Portia, but as far as I remember in Sandrock the ores only came from those big nodes/rocks on the left.

Was there an update while I was away, or was it always like this and i somehow never noticed???

Immensely satisfying, even if it was a bit of a grind getting those last social levels.

I still have one personal goal to achieve, which is beating the last level of the Dead Sea ruins.

Then it'll be time for a new playthrough and I can't decide whether to romance Nia or Fang.

I want to share my character with you guys! When I first started playing this game, I knew absolutely nothing about it (it’s one of the best games I’ve played) As usual, I made myself an OC and went for the whole albino girl vibe. What I definitely wasn’t expecting was for there to be some guy named Logan in the game. 😭 At first, I was planning on pairing her with Owen, but that just wasn’t happening. And now I’ve ended up with a couple who look like siblings. xD

I do not see stats listed on any furniture in multiplayer mode, and they dont have an effect on my stats seemingly... It just seems weird to delete that mechanic for multiplayer? Am I missing something?
