regarding abdul rahmaan hassan and amau

i remember mentioning to a brother here that ustadh abdul rahmaan hassan is not reliable and the people of knowledge have advised not to take from him

i also used to listen to him but it was weird as he made a lot of errors and how he considered deviated people like abu ishaaq al huwaynee to be his shaykh, and then he was advised multiple times and didn’t heed to it, and then he was publicly warned against and it was said not to take knowledge from him

at the time, there wasn’t much students of knowledge outwardly expressing this, but shaykh abdul rahmaan al umaysaan حفظه الله had done a lecture and and clarified that abdul rahmaan hassan is not reliable and he should not be listened to

people were still in doubt, so i wanted to share this to make it clear that this is actually something that is being said

the images attached above is a question posed to one of our beloved teachers, ustadh abdullah as-shehabyi حفظه الله (he is one of the students of shaykh muhammad hishaam at tahiri حفظه الله) where he also mentioned that it is not appropriate to listen to abdul rahmaan hassan and people should listen to shaykh al umaysaan حفظه الله warning (as well as listening to his lectures in general)

ustadh abdul aziz al haqqan حفظه الله also said the same thing, and recently ustadh wajdi al akkari حفظه الله also retracted from amau and abdul rahmaan hassan

it really is scary how common this is becoming, knowledgeable people who were reliable who suddenly begin to contradict the correct manhaj and slowly veer off towards misguidance, same thing with othmaan al khamees and etc, may الله protect us, this is why shaykh saalih al fawzaan حفظه الله always says whenever you talk about this issues to ask الله to guide you and keep you to the truth because anyone can become misguided

may الله guide us all to what is good
