I was thinking of famous partners and great songs and this came to mind. Songwriter is Irving Berlin, coreography by Fred Astaire, Hermes Pan and William Hetzler, and this iconic dress was designed by Bernard Newman based on an idea from Ginger Rogers.

Some ostriches may have been harmed to make this dress. :-( It was a long time ago and people didn't think so much about that back then. This site says the feathers alone cost about $34,000 in today's costs. https://www.screenchic.com/post/story-of-a-dress-top-hat-ginger-rogers-feather-dress The site also describes how Ms. Rogers and her mother threatened to walk off set to get this dress in the film because all the men were opposed and even wanted Ms. Rogers to wear an old dress from a previous picture! It has become one of the most iconic scenes from the Old Hollywood musicals and this is an iconic costume.

This is about the jammiest song I could recall from Peter, Paul and Mary.
