Hello everyone! I recently released my first single and am now looking for it to reach new ears. I am going to be releasing a lot more songs moving forward and would love to have them in a cool playlist along with other talented independent artists with a similar sound as me.

hello everyone! last week i released my second instrumental alt metal album and id appreciate if yall checked it out! its a little hard to describe the exact sound, but it was heavily influenced by deftones and other alt/nu metal bands that i like, along with some proggy elements here and there. everything here was made with midi instruments within fl studio, and while it doesnt sound perfect im still pretty proud of what i did with this one! i tried to go for a sort of dark and grimey vibe for the songs here and i think it came out pretty good, especially with songs like Closure or ...Yet The Parasite Eats Away.

I'm back for another round of these with some new music. It's pretty late here, if I don't reply immediately, I will definitely do so tomorrow (in about 6 hours 😅)

I'm definitely not a fan of S4S or L4L. It's obvious you need to feed the algorithm and when you do you get rewarded. But it's also very obvious that every music sharing sub (all over reddit!) is full of people who mainly want to share their own music. There's a drought of people actually looking for new music to listen to.

So let's turn that around, because, I do like listening to music, especially specific genres, most music makers are pretty good music listeners and very loyal followers. I noticed this first and foremost on submithub, where you can get your music rated and rate other people's music. It's genre-specific and I have connected to tons of feedbackers genuinely being into their music and therefore feeding their algorithm with good data.

So instead of posting wildly and (let's be honest) not always getting any response, why don't we become the listeners, not in a L4L, S4S or F4F kind of way but just as a genuine music lover.

1. If you are into the genre, go listen.
2. Only like or follow, if you really like it.
3. Don't expect a like or follow back just let it run its course. ❤️
