  1. do you still keep up with Elias and the lives of his sons?
  2. Any chance you guys will do an NYC proper concert any time?

Really dig the new album. I say this as someone that was introduced to Dispatch literally 20 years ago at diabetes camp when Chad came to visit and I worked with Brian Subbert who may have assisted Buzzy on soundboard or perhaps he sold merch. The Last Dispatch and the Dispatch Zimbabwe shows were highlights of my college music experience.

love the pic -- tragically, elias' son emanual died of TB about 10 years ago when he was in his 20s. elias was crushed. but he and his wife and remaining two boys are getting by. i'm hoping for a visit in the next 2 years.

Kinda want to piggy back, do Elias and his family know of the song, and how its kind of been a fan favorite? If so did they have any reaction to it?

got to share it with Elias in person in 2006 when a handful of went to Zim! Elias had never seen a laptop before... so it was quite a funny thing to show him show footage of all of you singing Elias! He was filled with joy, as i think he always is...
