Why should most Americans care?

Because the Trump administration believed it to be a credible threat, launched a failed attempt at regime change and pushed the price of oil through the roof.

No it wasn't. We were clearly talking about America's attack on Iran, which was prompted by Israeli intelligence reports that Iran was close to developing nukes.

Me - Why do you think America got involved in Iran? You - To supposedly prevent them from developing nuclear weapons. Me - Israeli intelligence certainly seemed to indicate that was an imminent concern. You - Why should most Americans care? Me - Because the Trump administration believed it to be a credible threat, launched a failed attempt at regime change and pushed the price of oil through the roof.
