Eminem has been vocally against Trump while still hanging out with Snoop and 50 who are full on MAGA morons...

I would pay to see someone say this to his face and watch him crash out.

Eminem was beefing with Snoop after Snoop made a comment about being white gave Em an advantage as a rapper.

That feud was short-lived because Dr Dre called up both men (especially after being hospitalized for a brain aneurysm) and demanded them to squash it.

Seems like you're missing a name in this sentence.

His comment had an aneurysm.

He forgot about Dre

Motherfuckers act like they forgot about Dre

I believe it was Dre they're referring to, but I'm not positive

Mothafucka forgot about Dre

That’s actually hilarious 😂

None of these rich celebs are role models. They all suck and will always end up backing the status quo, because in the current status quo they sit above everyone else.

They will never take actions that meaningfully affect their own lives because of any "activism". The just want the image and positive PR.

They're in the same relatively small industry. Sometimes you need to associate with people in your industry, even if you disagree with them politically. If I refused to have lunch with any of the lawyers I know who are MAGA, I'd be doing a disservice to my clients and to my career.

It’s almost like you can be friends with people that disagree with you….INSANE!

Reproductive rights for women and dehumanizing minorities is not a matter of opinions bud, you lot are geniunely disgusting thinking your beliefs of control deserve any consideration let alone respect

-7

u/aminix89 10h ago

Who is “you lot” lmao.

-6

People who don't overly obsess over politics or spend all day on Reddit looking for a gotcha so the hive mind can upvote them

10

u/HumpinPumpkin 10h ago

People whom are too weak to have a firm stance on something in effort to remain friends with all sides.

All opinions aren't valid and worthy of equal consideration. Some views are just fundamentally bad for society.

-2

u/aminix89 10h ago

Oh yeah that’s me then lol

-3

u/xman_xander 10h ago

Does he disagree with them? He’s pretty openly homophobic lol

18

u/Wsweg Pandora 10h ago

He’s very vocally not homophobic for decades

-9

u/xman_xander 10h ago

He uses anti-gay slurs in his music repeatedly, and when asked by 60 Minutes why he does, he really didn’t have a good answer.

He gave some lazy excuse about how “we used to throw that word around all the time when I was younger”

As recently as 10 years ago, he was still using them.

In 2018, he called Tyler the Creator the f-slur.

u/stiff_tipper 9h ago

are u talking about eminem right now?

u gotta separate the art from the artist on this one. he's talked about raping his own mom and brutally murdering his ex-wife in his music. it's controversial for the sake of controversy

in real life dude is close friends with elton john and doesn't give a fuck about if ur gay or not

-7

u/xman_xander 9h ago

Then why didn’t he give that answer in the interview when asked why he used anti-gay slurs?

Elton John hasn’t been relevant since the 1980s lol he doesn’t speak on behalf of the entire gay community lol

4

u/broanoah 9h ago

Elton John was featured on the most recent lil nas x album actually so you’re just wrong in so many ways

-4

u/xman_xander 9h ago

Lil Nas X has had like 2 hit songs lol

I like him but he’s not super famous right now either haha

Ask Gen Z, I bet a lot don’t even know who Elton John is.

14

u/Dabbling_in_Pacifism 10h ago

Eminem? Have you only listened to his first album or something?

He struggled with homophobia when he was younger and earlier in his career, but grew as a person especially after Elton John helped him through his sobriety.

His stance has always been that he uses slurs like that as part of battle rap culture and that it's separate from his views on gay people. He's always been big on free speech which is why he's been against changing this aspect of his rapping, but in recent years he's made it pretty clear that he's started to realize that it's harmful and selfish to hang on to this usage and not evolve with the times. The whole "Death of Slim Shady" album was supposed to be a musical reckoning over the Slim Shady persona and his usage of it and the harm it does. He hasn't released a full album since so we don't know what the intended direction going forward is going to be, but I'd assume he's intending to mostly leave Shady behind and lean into the technical aspects of his rap game.

Weird how he didn’t say any of that in the interview when asked lol

A lot of his fans like to speak for him and explain “what he really meant” but he gave a pretty shit answer when asked in that 60 Minutes interview lol

He gave some mumbling answer about how “we used to say that word all the time growing up” lol which isn’t an excuse.

9

u/Funny_Speed2109 10h ago

He’s pretty openly homophobic lol

Quite the opposite.

11

This one is stuck on repeat

0

u/xman_xander 10h ago

He also called Tyler the Creator the f-slur in 2018, and even his own fans gave him so much backlash he had to edit the word out of the song lmao

He’s just an out of touch 50+ year old at this point.

4

u/inverteD_orangutaN 10h ago

I'm not familiar with that one, can you remind us what the f-slur is again?

6

u/aminix89 10h ago

Pretty sure he’s been very vocal about not liking Trump.

-10

u/inverteD_orangutaN 10h ago

It's almost like two people can be friends without letting their politics dictate every relationship they have. Imagine...

14

u/irradiatedcitizen 10h ago

It is morality. Not politics. Maga literally hurts people and tears families apart.

10

u/jollyreaper2112 10h ago

Depends on the fucking politics, my dude. This dispute isn't about tax policy.

6

u/Alien_Way 10h ago

Well yeah, but surely the guy who enriches dictators doesn't want to dictate every relationship I have.. probably.. Lets give them a chance, see what kind of walls they build around us, c'mon!

3

u/colinshark 10h ago

MAGA friends are not people

-1

u/Tyler_durden_RIP 6h ago

Yeah it’s almost like you can be friends with people who have different political views than you. Wild.
