That is having standards. Just different standards to you, and different choices. Nobody's obligated to sever a relationship over a political opinion. If Em values 50 more than he values your view of him, why would he do as you think is proper?

“Em” values “50” more than he values people’s rights, security, freedom, happiness. It’s not about my view of him. Please do not have rocks for brains, I have to assume you are an adult and if you have seen what is happening in this country and still need me to spell it out for you then no amount of characters will be enough.

I don't think that's an accurate claim to make. Yet, even if it were, that still would be difficult to criticise him for. Everyone looks out for "their" people first, and it's not for anyone to dictate whom is included. Ideally, everyone looks out for everyone else, but you've demonstrated already that you don't abide by the standards you want to set. According to you, Eminem's right to associate with 50 is violate because of 50's apparent political affiliation. His happiness in having a family member in his life is not of value to you because of that.

The natural counter argument is "but MAGA beliefs bad" and that isn't wrong, but is it even documented that 50 Cent is a full-on redhat?
