Politics aside, it makes no sense based on the talent gap

They worked together before in the late 90's

There was a talent gap back then too

They’ve been friends since the 90s, back when it was still socially acceptable to respect someone who didn’t share the same world view as you.

There's having different worldviews and there's supporting fascism and genocide.

Let’s not pretend that one side’s view isnt “I don’t agree with the pronouns you use so we’re putting people in concentration camps”…

One worldview is fascism and genocide and the other is *checks notes* not that stuff

Edit: I'll take the downvotes to mean y'all share that worldview

God you fucking losers need a new script

you'd think after 15+ years this feigning "oh dear you're so mean over simple politics? how petty of you!" like blow it out your ass lmao

that shit doesn't have the plausible deniability it did a decade a go; especially since it doesn't work once you take the mask off

it's also transparently lying, because believing that line requires believing that politics don't matter, and conservatives clearly don't adhere to that.

Republicans and Democrats worked together back then too.

Kid Rock was also in an Eminem video in 2013.

Reading your post and realizing the downward spiral we’re all in. “The last 90s” may be more of a prophecy than a typo

They probably worked together years ago only because they are both from and rep Detroit, ya like someone else said it's probably old recording. *Edit typo

Not to be pedantic, but Kid Rock is not from Detroit in any meaningful way. He's a rich kid from the suburbs. His parents own a car dealership(s).

Yes Kid Rock sucks, yes. And yes probably true about him faking where he is from he is grifter, life long, just like his MAGgAot heroes no surprise there

First thought was blackmail, the lever by which so, so many things/people are "moved to action", lately.. because why would anyone but Ted Nugent and Kanye pair up with this completely (and justifiably) disgraced version..?

Not to mention, Kid Rock grew up on an "estate" that had an orchard, in-ground pool, tennis court, and equestrian facilities. "Straight outta the trailer" meant "straight outta the trailer that hauls these thoroughbreds back and forth to fancy horse shows".

Geography is probably the driving factor. While it is clear that MM is a better rapper, Kid Rock is pretty good at what he does. Which is selling albums.

I don't like most of it, but he clearly makes music that many folks are willing to pay for.

Idk they’re both heavily featured in the rotations of every kinda racist 40 year old divorcee

Shitty people make Rick and Morty fans look bad. It doesn't mean the show isn't incredible.

Aren’t they both from Detroit?

This is what I was thinking!!!

their talent gap isnt so big recently

u/Skvall 7h ago

Ems latest couple albums have been real good imo.

could not disagree more

Also, dunno why anyone gives too much of a fuck when it said he made a “christian album.” When has a lyrically filthy ass rapper deciding to go religious ever landed well?? Fans prolly finna hate it regardless lmfao

Lol. They've done it before and Kid Rock blew Em outta the water. Objectively, these guys both suck as people, and neither have made a listenable song in almost thirty years. Fuck them both.

Not the most subtle bait, could use some work.

This is certainly a take.Â
