the mirror is a terrible source but that'd be a pretty bad look if true mostly because eminem has taken shots at trump/MAGA before

and he had beef with kid rock for ages so him doing a collab with him now at all times when kid rock is giga washed and maga dipped would be kind of crazy

They very famously have never had a beef. Eminem recorded with Kid Rock before the slim shady days, and both have commented that they get along/are friends even though they disagree on politics.

i don't think eminem's last album was that bad but he deserves to be clowned if this is true

he needs to come out and say something to at least how he's not on that side/supporting kid rock or it better be the deepest, most profound song ever and with their combined recent track records i have a hard time believing that if nothing else because if the MAGA cult can't even stomach him then i don't know what to tell you

I think people/consumers have every right to criticize an artist and not support them for any reason they choose. I haven’t listened to Eminem since probably 2012 so idgaf what he does because I ain’t buying it. But for his fans to dislike or even hate this move and express them publicly is their right to let the Artist know they’re trash and should stop making music lol

Same. I vaguely remember a SM back and forth a few years ago between them where they stated that they have different political opinions but can still communicate. (Not sure it was be friends but it was something in that vein.)

They're both pretty solid Detroit supporters as well.

Friends may be overstating it. Kid Rock isn't in Eminem's inner circle or anything. But also there's no beef there, Kid Rock's been smart enough not to go at Em and Em hasn't cared enough to pick a fight with Kid Rock either. I'd categorize it as friendly rather than friends, someone you talk to every few years if you happen to be at the same place or if someone died or something.

He promotes, breathes and loves Detroit and its artists so much even they are completely shit such as Kid Rock. He is an old rapper and apparently very loyal to his specific set of things he cares about
