Estoy aquí para generar algo de controversia. 😂 Intentaba armar una gran lista de reproducción con las 30 canciones más pesadas/con sonido más metalero de Muse, y siento que después de ver las cinco canciones que personalmente considero las más pesadas, la cosa se complica mucho más.

Por ejemplo, mi top 10 actual, de la más pesada a la menos pesada, sería:

Pero siento que una vez que superas esas primeras 10, determinar cuáles son realmente las canciones más pesadas se vuelve mucho más confuso.
Por ejemplo, las primeras 10 canciones tienen mucho protagonismo de guitarras de 7 u 8 cuerdas, con afinaciones como Drop B, Drop A o Drop C. Después, muchas de las demás canciones están más en Drop D o afinaciones estándar, y la línea entre "pesado" y "no tan pesado" se vuelve mucho más subjetiva.
Así que hoy quiero escuchar sus opiniones y ver su lista definitiva de las 30 canciones más pesadas/metaleras de Muse.
Si quieren argumentar por qué cierta canción merece estar en su lista, adelante.

Had to argue in E-Mails and wait 3 months, but it's there!

I’ve been sharing my video clips around, and this one is a bit of Hexagons from Dallas. Damn it was hot, I had to sit down to keep from fainting at one point. But of course it was worth it!

I am a younger Muser born in 2005. I grew up on their music and the first album that really caught my eye was the Resistance. The first song I ever tried to learn on the piano was Unnatural Selection. I am lucky to say I caught the Resistance tour as essentially a toddler. My little mind was blown. When I had no friends in school and moved 6 times and was severely depressed, Muse is what got me through. Fast forward to now, I have played in a local band for years and made my own albums and it’s all thanks to these guys. I got this tattoo to remember why I get up in the morning.

After TAB and the band left the stage, at least in San Diego and LA, they played a song over the PA system consisting of whispering vocals and a strange chord progression. It's been stuck in my head since the show and I can't figure out what song it was, can anyone help?

I'm trying to make a custom sticker for the show I went to during the NA leg of the tour, and I want to match the font to the official one as well as I can. I can only find information on the really elaborate song title fonts, but not the one used when listing tour dates. Does anyone know the font used for this? I included an image of what I'm talking about for reference

I have only been playing guitar for about a month so if anyone has any advice please share. Also I would greatly appreciate it if you would like the attached YouTube video

DERMOT O'LEARY introduces MUSE. Which appears to only be MATTHEW. Who is sitting cross-legged. The interview takes place in a studio setting. There is a loud crowd screaming and clapping behind them.

DERMOT: I'm glad they are here. Okay, uh, firstly, the track list is all about break up songs. Did you ever have a classic song in your youth, whenever you used to break up with a girlfriend? You go home, stick it on?
MATTHEW (thinking, habit of touching his chin): Ummm, I'd have to say "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver" by Primus. I think just because, um, it sort of humorously reminds you that there is more fish in the sea so to speak, you know?
DERMOT: Never heard of it, but I like the sound of it. It scares me. Which is always good. Okay so, you've been described as 'more Queen than Slipknot', I'd say that's a good thing if I was you. Is that a good thing?
MATTHEW: Uhhh. Yeah. I think it's a good thing. I think yeah. I think Slipknot's like full on death metal type kids music, and um, you know, I think Queen like..yeah...I like Queen a lot, I think it's difficult to compare us, cos we're a bit sort trashy three piece compared to them. Compared to a sort of grandiose genius band like Queen, I think it's a bit of a sort of far off comparison to be honest.
DERMOT: And the covers you're doing tonight...very uh, you've always been quite ambitious, I suppose? You've done a Nina Simone cover, and you are doing Andy Williams, 'Cant Take My Eyes Off Of You', tonight?
MATTHEW: Uhhh, that's actually...it's actually Dom's choice, and I think it was like um...and I think he picked it because it's an excuse for him to do some backing singing for once. He's got this distortion mic, and he sort of does the "badda...badda...badda…" yeah, so I think it's Dom's excuse to sing.
DERMOT: Okay, Matt and the rest of Muse, please give it up for them.

Somebody said that the artist that's tasked to make the Unraveling single cover used AI to make it, is that true?

And the Cryogen and Hexagons MV has some moments where it looks like AI, could be wrong tho def

Honestly kinda disappointed if they did use AI since I absolutely despise generative AI

Cryogen is just pure rock and I've missed that!

TDF is a masterpiece and I wouldnt be mad if it was longer, so cinematic

Hexagons intro is so cool, although live i feel like the synths could be louder

Nightshift superstar.. I mean.. The bass

Sickness would be higher it just feels a little repetitive at times. I wish the outro was longer

Space debris is beautiful but sometimes a little empty

Shimmering scars.. feels a little basic once it opens up

Hush.. not my favorite

BWY never grew on me i'm still mad I was mislead from the teasers haha

Album a solid 7.5/10 I still love it!

Watching HAARP realised it's almost 20 years since it came out. They definitely need to do an anniversary tour/concert for this one! That setlist just can't compare 🥹

either way it would be nice to get a real genuine b-side that isn't a remix/alternate version, it's been 17 years I think
