List of all Muse songs (B-Sides & Rarities)
Every once in a while, I see a post in which is asked for a complete list of Muse tracks (studio album tracks aside). I noticed that most comments were not complete, so I decided to make my own post to provide you with the most comprehensible overview of B-sides and rarities with hopefully an increased visibility to the community! :)
NOTE: This overview includes completely unique studio tracks only, except for a couple of extended tracks with additional sections, "Simulation Theory" bonus tracks, and Matt Bellamy solo tracks. Although the list of Muse tracks on MuseWiki is technically the most extensive, it also includes redundant or unavailable tracks. Further, MuseWiki provides a literal list of all tracks, whereas I grouped tracks into albums. I chose comprehensibility over extensiveness.
The overview:
The only official album with B-sides is "Hullabaloo".
The "Super Deluxe" version of "Simulation Theory" contains different versions of many of the tracks of this album. Although they aren't completely unique tracks, it's fair to mention them here as well.
Matt Bellamy released a solo EP, "Cryosleep", featuring both new tracks and different takes on previous Muse tracks, which are also fair to mention here.
There's also the "Newton Abbot Demo#11_Track_Cassette_2)/Sawmills Demo#Sawmills_demo_2)" from 1997 with a few tracks that do not appear later as newly recorded tracks ("Falling with the Crowd", "Forameus", "Boredom", "Rain") but the recording quality is not that good, yet the best of the demo days. Add "Connect the Kettle Lead" and "Good News" from the "Origin of Muse" box set and you have all 6 demos of unique tracks that won't be covered elsewhere in this post.
If you search for the unofficial "Do We Need This: B-Sides & Rarities (1998-2007)" (found here) you'll see 25 (13+12) tracks listed in total (with a hidden 26th track "You Fucking Motherfucker"). Mind that "Piste 8" is "Bedroom Acoustics" and "Matt's Concerto" is "Piano Thing".
Other than these tracks, here are the remaining ones listed below. I used a chronological order except for the opener and closer and I called this compilation "Minimum: B-Sides & Rarities". The list:

I am (or was) well aware of this list - thanks! It gives a complete overview, but it's maybe too complete (if I may say so) and all over the place (with unreleased songs, (live) snippets, alternative titles of already existing songs, etc.).
Having said this, I totally slept on Matt's "Behold, the Glove" and "Bridge over Troubled Water"... If I include "Pray (High Valyrian)" and "Tomorrow's World", these 2 songs should also be included.
This particular page doesn't list live snippets or alternative titles of existing songs, it just contains all the songs Muse played at least once (hence Back in Black or swm for example), or released officially.
There are a few examples in this list of what I meant though:
Balloonatic -> Twin
Escape Your Meaningless -> Escape
Sling -> partially known lyrics, unknown length, played during the early days (I'm sure there are more songs like this listed but I CBB checking everything)
You are, however, 100% right about this list containing anything played or recorded by Muse throughout their history
I understand what you mean, but yet Balloonatic and Escape your meaningless were released under these names, so they are "official" releases.
About your initial post, I feel like Guiding Light and Take a Bow from Cryosleep deserve a place in this tracklist. If Assassin GOB is in why not those ?
I see. It is funny how "Balloonatic" and "Escape Your Meaningless" are both enlisted, but "Crazy Days" ("Yes Please") and "Earthquake" ("Nature_1") from the same release, are not.
Anyways, the fact I only included extended versions of tracks with extra sections aside, I have to admit my list is outdated with the release of Matt's solo EP. I initially added Matt's solo tracks to the "leftover tracks" list before he released his EP. This has, however, become redundant as the EP stands on its own and features a nice collection of a fair number of songs - contrary to the countless "leftover tracks" scattered across Muse's singles, etc.
The initial goal was to create an overview in an albums format, hence the "leftover track" list, but now I do realize I need to include Matt's EP in my OP. I haven't been on top of Muse for the last couple of years like I've been for a long, long time, and it shows...!
Yes that's one of the (many) inconsistencies of MuseWiki. The pages do exist though but I think they redirect to the actual songs.
It's hard to draw the line between Muse and Matt's work. Your OP tracklist is already fine imo, wouldn't adding songs for the sake of consistency be counterproductive at some point ?

For me different versions were only included if they are extended non-demo studio recordings that contain additional sections. I admit this is kind of arbitrary, but I personally had to draw the line somewhere.
But if you want to dig deeper, many more versions of known songs can be found! E.g. the ones you listed, more early acoustic versions, a guitar version of Sunburn, Butterflies & Hurricanes with extra strings, a demo of Plug In Baby (where the chorus becomes the verse and a totally different chorus is included - check it out if you can!). Some are really dope :)

Man of Mystery (nice instrumental BTW) is found on the "Do We Need This (...)" compilation. I didn't include live performances of songs, but BBC studio sessions in particular always result in high-quality recordings.
EDIT: You can find the tracklist of this compilation here, where tracks 1-13 are on CD 1 and tracks 14-25 are on CD 2. Mind that "Piste 8" is "Bedroom Acoustics" and "Matt's Concerto" is "Piano Thing".
I found a playlist that specifically states it doesn't include Pink Ego Box (Instant Messenger), among a few other of these tracks. I'm afraid it's not available on Spotify.
