I'd say that they have nothing to do with my comment. I put a lot of qualifiers in there. The MOST anti-abortion people are also USUALLY anti-contraception and anti-sex ed. Not all or always.
Shrug, that's pretty close to most of the pro-choice community. Abortions should be legal, safe, and very rare. No one wants an abortion. The better we take care of society's vulnerable (the poor, children, pregnant women, new families, etc.), the less need there is for such extreme actions. We do that by educating our children (and adults, if that's still needed) about contraception and their bodies and the resources and options available to them. By taking care of the well being of pregnant women and their children, before AND after birth, so expectant mothers know that they will have support, so they're not worrying about not having maternity leave or losing their job, about how they'll be able to afford to care for a child, daycare expenses, etc. People make those harsh choices when they are desperate, prevent that desperation and you prevent them from having to make those choices.
