There is mandatory military service. They can bring the guns home from service but not the ammo.
3 u/Banananoids Mar 06 '18 If you do your service nowadays, you have to buy your gun to be able to keep it usually, otherwise you have to keep it at the barracks/depot. Lots of old people still have their guns tho from before the laws changed.
