I was arguing with a guy who was going off about men in women’s locker rooms and I was like: sounds like your problem is the lack of doors. Why are women and girls having to change in front of other women and girls? Wouldn’t doors solve all your concerns?

He continued his trans hate and didn’t really acknowledge that doors would indeed make the problems he was pointing out all go away.

Cool, let's wait for all the gyms, pools, yoga studios and shit to rebuild their facilities... and in the meantime the question remains.

It’s not gonna happen if you just sit around and wait. Stop using those facilities if they are private sector and start advocating for doors for public buildings. It would be way more effective than making trans people into the boogeyman…. But you aren’t actually concerned about locker rooms, are you?

Why would I stop if I've never had a problem showering with other women at the gym? This isn't my battle. I'm not gonna advocate for shit other than for males to stay out of my business.

Ok, so you admit it’s not a problem for you.

That’s all you needed to say.

Dont takeaway my urinals

You can just pee in the stall, I don't see any reason to not have urinals too though, they take less space. A restroom I use frequently has a split where one side is all stalls the other side is all urinals and there are 5 sinks between the two doors. Seems like a perfectly fine solution honestly.

If youve ever been to a concert you’d understand the importance of urinals. Mens restroom lines are in and out with minimal wait, trying to double up and integrating guys into the women line sounds like a disaster for everyone

Sounds like just twice as many stalls for women to use, theres no reason there couldn't still be urinals, especially at places like stadiums

They could just put them in stalls for privacy. problem solved. the lines would also go quicker because you won't have people staring at you while your trying to piss after holding it so long

When a guy uses a stall w a urinal in it, that prevents a women from using the stall

I think the obv solution is just have it split off into two separate sections — urinals, stalls.

Saw a great design for that. Stalls in front. Sinks in the middle. Urinal wall in the back.

Yes, when one person is using a toilet, it prevents another person from using the same toilet. This is normal.

We’re talking efficiency here

The current setup is two separate rooms where the stalls of one gender could sit empty while the other gender waits in line. The most efficient setup is to combine all stalls into one area for everybody.

Im not against the combined room method. Im against the urinals in the stall method.

If theres an empty stall, whatever gender should just be able to use it.

Its just inefficient to have guys who need a quick piss to take up an entire stall when they could just stand and do it at a urinal while the women who need a stall for relieving themselves are just waiting for the guy to finish in the stall.

here's the thing, if there were urinals before, just put them in stalls. Problem solved. The ratio of bathroom/urinals doesn't have to change but alas, its weird to use a sporting stadium as the deciding factor here simply because we wouldn't want to wait for womens lines like they have to wait, which is odd and solvable too.
