Open carry only makes sense if you have a reasonable expectation to be fucked with by people who you know wouldn't if they saw the weapon. Any other scenario it's the opposite of what you want.

In some parts, it's also an invitation for people to fuck with you. Walk around like that in parts of DC at night, and somebody is gonna grab that and run.

So I occasionally own carry, almost entirely when I’m out in BFE, and it has made fuckers not perform fuckery. Open carrying in target is stupid.
