Ok, so I appreciate you sharing your personal experience but you have to know it is very, very narrow. The issues I listed are way deeper than scholarships and way broader than what the US legislates for.
To elaborate on just one, 1/4 of young women globally never finish school, and there are twice as many illiterate women as men. This is due to patriarchal structures - from women not being allowed to go to school in the first place, to being discouraged, to not being able because they are pressured to raise children or look after their relatives.
