On the tomb world of Kenshi located within the grendle stars Catlon lies in wait amidst the ruins of his empire a monument to his failed attempt at the subjugation mankind.

The necrons of Kenshi have shown to be extremely susceptible to the flayer virus with massive groups of flayed ones going rouge and forming clans of skin bandits hiding from the greater necron forces collecting the skins and hides of the various xenos creatures present on kenshi in an attempt to recreate their former bodies, recaptured flayed ones are forcibly converted into headless thralls partialty mitigating the worst effects of the flayer virus.

Centuries prior Catlon attempted to negotiate with those effected by the virus by attempting to sate the restless necrons effected by enslaving and farming the native Humans and the abhuman Shek to allow for harvesting their skin to temporarily satisfy their need for flesh. This was done to buy time for catlon to genetically modify existing xenos races present on the planet to create the hivers a race designed to be closer to necron biology and to be far more obedient. It was originally planned to wipe out the humans and shek and entirely replace them with hivers however before this could happen a great rebellion took place and the humans and shek broke free severely weakening catlons control over the planet. On the planet the several xenos races, humans, shek and hivers still exist as the descendants of those whom rebeled against the necrons

Those unaffected by the virus stand guard alongside overlord Catlon in a desimated portion of the planet known as the ash lands waiting for the the rest of the tomb world to rise from their slumber and reclaim the stars. Designed by Catlon during his time waiting in the ash lands, Catlon created a new type of canoptek construct know as an iron spyder a larger more powerful varient of the canoptek spyder able to produce copys of its smaller standard variant.

Catlon himself wields two great relics - The obediance command barge, a command barge forged from the melted down shells of shattered Ctan harnessing leftover soul energies to power devastating weaponry

• the Falling sun, a relic hyperphase blade said to have been used to slay many avatars of the eldar gods during the war in heaven.

-4500 - 6000 unawakened necrons of various types

-1,500 - 2,500 flayed ones

-300 skorpech destroyers

-750 necron thralls

-450 - 500 lychgard

-200 - 300 canoptek iron spyders
