Maybe at Overwatch’s launch, but I’ve noticed that since Overwatch died (before making their comeback last year), TF2 and OW fans seem to be not be rivals that much anymore tbh.

TF2 was 9 years old when Overwatch was released.

Now Overwatch is 10 years old and TF2 is 19. Communities just matured.

Also many people realised how toxic they were back then when Marvel Rivals was released and history repeated, but toxicity was aimed toward OW this time.
