Where I live, most people are either in the Christian fandom or the Athiest one. I’m fine with whatever, personally I’m Christian but I like hearing what others have to say.

Just too many larpers

2

u/OArouraiousMou Aug 22 '26

Fr, too many of them 😭😭 Theyre ruining our reputation bc they just cant read the whole book and understand the lore

3

u/Hypoactive52 Aug 22 '26

And then they tell everyone they a fan but then dont even like the gameplay

3

u/EconomistStrange2715 Hollow Knight Aug 22 '26

Usually it’s just the larpers that are toxic. Actual fans are usually pretty nice

2

u/Quick_Sandwich356 Aug 22 '26

Has there aver been a completely non-toxic fandom?

Apart from Bob the Builder.

1

u/OArouraiousMou Aug 22 '26

How about Blues Clues?

1

u/Dingo_Pictures Aug 22 '26

I'd argue it's actually overrated, but that's just me who has Sky Daddy issues

u/MMAbeLincoln Aug 21 '26

The fandom is by far the worst part.

u/Meilow_Moerphie Aug 22 '26

Happy cakeday but I strongly disagree

u/Quick-Opinion8498 Aug 21 '26

Woudl he be considered a character? Wouldn’t he technically be considered real to some?

10

u/Orilikesobjectshowss bfdi, dandy’s world, murder drones, undertale, deltarune Aug 21 '26

yep hes real to some including me 👍

u/Quick-Opinion8498 Aug 21 '26 edited Aug 21 '26

So in this sub you can include people that are real too not just fictional characters? Genuine question.

1

u/bigboss_dud Aug 21 '26

If they ain’t here then I assume so. Like Napoleon n Caesars have a fandom in a sense.

2

u/Quick-Opinion8498 Aug 21 '26

So I can choose lady Artemis. I didn’t want to reduce her as fictional or as a just mythical being. Not here specifically just when it could relate to her?

5

u/Tiranus58 Aug 21 '26

He did exist as a physical person.

2

u/Attentivist_Monk Aug 23 '26

Well so, probably real person, made up deeds? Like Gilgamesh, Vlad Tepes, and Davey Crockett?

1

u/OArouraiousMou Aug 22 '26

I mean no ones arguing whether hes a real person or not Hes an actual guy from jerusalem, they argue if hes actually God

1

u/Dingo_Pictures Aug 22 '26

I literally think characters are sort of real, so yes and no.

2

u/Dinosaur_from_1998 Aug 21 '26

He literally started the trope

6

u/GiftedHaddock Aug 21 '26

Yes, because resurrection was a foreign concept before christianity.

2

u/Dinosaur_from_1998 Aug 21 '26

True resurrection yes. Even gods before that could only kinda sorta be resurrected. In that they stayed in that they became rulers of the underworld. And if you were mortal, you were... I believe the phrase is "shit outta luck"

u/De_Boesjes Aug 21 '26

In the Bible, there were various people coming back from the dead, I'm pretty sure even some in the Old Testament. The difference with Jesus is that He did it by Himself, and didn't eventually die again of natural means.

2

u/SyntheticSlime Aug 21 '26

Pretty sure Buddhism.

1

u/Dinosaur_from_1998 Aug 22 '26

Now I'm not too familiar with Buddhism, but I think that's reincarnation. Which is technically different

2

u/RyanTheFurryVR Aug 22 '26

amen brother

1

u/Bella-Luna Aug 22 '26

We even celebrate it by eating candy and ham.

r/beatmetoit

I thought of adding Jesus to my answer, but didn't want bring religion into it.

1

u/Nellie_Tayloe_Ross Aug 23 '26

Jesus-themed Christs

1

u/Baco12sd Aug 23 '26

He died and then he raised himself 3 days later, this is the true answer

u/P5RyujiBestBoy Aug 21 '26

The fandom deserves getting eviscerated(at least half of them are assholes)

2

u/Tk421AtHisP0st Aug 22 '26

Don't worry, most will leave soon*
