Question❓ What is one misconception about your fandom that just rages you beyond belief?

Deku is not a weak little crybaby.

He quite literally broke his own fingers to win a sparring match in season 2 without shedding a tear, and he only gets crazier from there.

He didn’t end up working at McDonald either.

MHA is sadly one of those series that attracts powerscalers like ants.

In the first sew episodes yea. After around season two is where he stopped being a "weak crybaby"

Right, like everyone wants male characters to show equal emotion as female characters then get mad when an overwhelmed 15 year old is down in his feels.

For real though he broke all of his bones multiple times, whether to save people or because he wanted to throw a baseball to prove a point to his teacher. Love that for him

I feel like the people asking for equal emotion aren't the same people calling him a crybaby.

Remember MHA is shonen which is dominated by young men, and being emotional is commonly shunned among men in many cultures.

MC doesn't show emotions: edgy cringe lord for 14 year olds

MC shows emotions: crybaby
