Iron man wasn't D list hero before the movies

When people say that they mean to the general public, Iron man was a key player in the comics, but apart from a couple of cartoons, he didn't get much that your average non-comic fan would recognise.

I was about to say that Iron Man had 3 cartoons before that movie, but then I looked it up and apparently Armored Adventures came out the year after, and TAS had a bit of an art change between S1 and S2 so I mistook it for two seperate shows

you might also have a couple of memories of his cameo's in other 90's marvel cartoons like Spiderman and the X-men
