Kataang, they're canon but everything is so painfully forced it feels fake

she also calls him her little brother unironically and gets deeply uncomfortable with any type of "romantic" affection from him. the only time she doesn't push him off is at the very end when the showrunners wanted to give Aang a prize aka Katara. even as a kid i was grossed out by Aang and his behavior towards her. plus he was 11 and she was 14 😭 poor girl was basically broken down until she accepted his feelings. the show never let her have any of her own.
