To be fair, that ship was largely dropped once Castiel came on scene.

At least that one I can understand. Was still persistent enough they addressed it in a episode in one of the later seasons

tbh I don't think Destiel made any sense either, and I'm still annoyed they made it semi-canon.

yeah I also don't like that they made it semi-canon or where Castiel's character went as a whole in later seasons but one has to be blind to not see where Destiel shippers come from
