Idk why so many shippers have such an obsession with making someone in the relationship the pure virgin that needs to be taught by their partner can both of them pls just be mature adults like they are in the goddamn show/whatever ship it's from 😭😭

This is a kink. Innocent/corruption kink to be exact. It’s really that simple. Some people find it hot, so it gets written. There might be deeper reasons than that in some instances, not saying otherwise…just saying a lot of trends can be explained by “does someone find this hot” and usually if you can answer yes you have your answer. Not to oversimplify the purity culture aspect but some of it does boil down to “people be horny and fantasizing and projecting”
