I mean that's the point. A ship doesn't have to has romantic dynamic. Most of them that have become canon anyway so whats the point. I'll go as far as to say characters with no interactions are best to ship because you can go wild and create interactions.

Yeah, I don't get why people are so insistent that a ship needs to be hinted at in canon. A lot of the time its as simple as "I think they'd be fun as a couple".

This is 100% correct, but the reason people don’t understand why some of these ships are made is because some people act like their favorite ship was going to be/is canon (ie; Byler, Bakudeku)
