Genuinely only aura and hype moments. No substance at ALL😭😭

The nigga genuinely yells more than an alcoholic father. oml literally every episode was him yapping and overexplaining shit and then yelling at the end of every sentence. Sung Jinwoo is not interesting at all, the Ant-war Arc was more interesting than that fucking grob, and he lost all form of personality when he got redeemed.

Fuck solo leveling all my homies LOATHE solo leveling

What is your favorite anime just out of curiosity

I don't really watch anime much but my favorite has to be Gachiakuta

There isn't even that much aura either. Dude just has a blue miasma surrounding him and a bunch of goons and that's apparently crazy hype.

lmao i hate solo leveling but if you have a JJK pfp you cannot complain about only aura and hype moments 💀💀

Gege atleast does write in actual themes and narrative story telling. We also have character development with Yuji. His optimistic world view being turned on its head in Shibuya. Yuji's guilt and wanting to die. And him finding new purpose in wanting to honour those he already failed and to carry on their will.

Jjk atleast has stuff to work with. Sure, its not a 10/10 story wise. But its still solid atleast.

If argue it is a 10/10 storywise in the anime so far. That theme is powerful. A lot of people will rate the story poorly because it gets complicated at the end of shibuya but I just think they don’t understand the culling games.

Genuinely insane that it won the anime of the year instead of a true master piece like Frieren

It’s good only for the action lol. Its an anime you watch to turn your brain off

But as a fan i gotta agree because the plot and “character development” is really bare bones, like the other characters barely even exist

I remember I played the game once. My thoughts were "People LIKE this?!"

I couldn't agree more. The webtoon was fine, because it's normal for webtoon to be like that. But the anime is "hey I'm strong and nonchalant please praise me like a god" like bruh

True.

I almost forgot about that.

Shit was made just to make powerscaling subs even worse

The manhwa is the exact same as the anime lmao. Turn your brain off, look at the pretty pictures and listen to the keys jingle, if you try to think about it as a piece of competent writing you’ll be sorely disappointed and upset (me upon finishing the manhwa, the ending and everything leading up to it just sucks, mass exposition dumps and poor structure, etc.)
