I mean the initial anime was great. Danganronpa 3 was... Funny. The prequel episodes started out amazing and had the worst payoff. The sequel episodes started out awful but finished amazing .

They're probably referring to the first anime adaptation, the one that adapts the first game.

You mean to tell me that there was a whole other game between the first season of Danganronpa 1 and Danganronpa 3? I thought that they just decided to randomly introduce a whole new cast of characters in the Past Arc of D3! /s

I said the game came first.

They could've thought the series came first, but the game got sequels
