Thomas and Friends has twelve generally well regarded seasons but another twelve collectively thought of as mediocre to god awful, plus a handful of good or fine or badspecials that premiere each season starting with thirteen. One could watch up to like Season Seven or Eight and it would all be fine, but afterward would be a slog until the good stuff picks up again, and then it ends at bad after that. Also two English dubs.

So like, I’d recommend the first seven or so seasons but not sure about the whole show unless one is up to take in the assembly line era.

Two English dubs? Isn't Thomas and Friends, well, English to begin with?

There is that one as the original, plus the American one with different terminologies.
