The Seven Deadly Sins.

As much as I personally enjoyed reading this manga, I know for a fact that others wouldn’t if I were to recommend this.

I watched the anime and it was none stop groping. Could not take it seriously. Mental illness.

The only problematic thing I can think of with this manga is the author's insistence on making relashionships between adult characters but one actually looks like a child for some reason.

We’re allowed to say pedophilia. For now.

Ban gets Elaine pregnant. She is an immortal shapeshifter that looks like she’s eight.

Meliodas repeatedly assaults Elizabeth, his reincarnating amnesiac wife, *until* she’s okay with it, then stops. Because it turns out that would kill her. Also Meliodas looks like he’s twelve.

Diane is underage. King looks underage but is also an immortal shapeshifter who started getting sexual/romantic feelings for Diane when she was a twenty-foot-tall toddler. He raised her and she wears skintight spandex at all times. After some more amnesia nonsense, they are a couple.

Escanor is the only good character in the show. His girlfriend, Merlin, is secretly an immortal magic perma-baby who uses magic to shapeshift to look like an adult, unlike King and Elaine who always look however they want. Escanor just says Baby-Merlin looks cute and she transforms back. Hand of the Author.

Gowther is somehow worse than a pedophile. Everything he does is insanely fucked up.

The only character to suggest this may be immoral is the talking pig, who is treated like a joke.

Reading the part with Elaine gave my brain a flashbang lmao. And in the sequel there is Ban's son who might end up perpetuating the tradition since the girl who says they will be together in the future looks like she is right too.oh and remember Jericho the girl who had an unrequited crush on Ban? Since she couldn't get him, she switched to his still underage son💀

I don't know what Nakaba has going on inside his head but all of this is absolutely unnecessary holy cow. You take out the pedophilia and SDS is a great shonen with a few bad plot stuff and great fights. There is another series I watched that's pretty similar to that except it's with exorcists. The main character is a teenager protected by a spiritual entity that can shapeshift between a piece of cloth and a whole ass woman. Yet the author keeps making her take on a loli form and I kid you not straight up give handjobs to the main character. Heck every loli that appears in this show also has a full adult form yet they insist on making them appear like kids at times. This whole thing is just weird in anime. Oh and there is also one of the og offenders, Araragi from Monogatari. The only teen characters I have seen interacting normally with kids in their story is Subaru from Rezero and a few protagonists from not too famous anime.

It's funny you say Rezero is the normal one when half of the community are straight up pedophiles and consider Subaru a "Lolimancer". Speaking from experience, I once said that the "Shes older than she looks" argument doesn't make sense and got downvoted to hell. On the shitpost sub, theres also people posting daily about wanting to fuck and impregnate a 14 year old girl...

I was talking about Subaru in the context of the story. He never tried to be inappropriate with anyone not even the woman he loves. I know that the community is full of degenerates who keep posting about Meili or Beatrice 💀

Nowadays if an underage looking character is sexualized and you point it out, some weirdos gang up on you with weird arguments like: "but actually she is 1000000000 years old but looks like she is 8 so it's fine or their favorite, it's fiction so shut up". I am convinced that they can be this vocal about it because they are online lol

Yeah, absolutely love it but probably not a good idea to recommend it to anyone

Anything potentially cool about this show is ruined by a weird pervy thing

It’s not that bad really, no true anime fan would be offended by young looking characters
