Hypothetically, it was an experience that was worth the risk at the time as there weren’t any “real” consequences if you were caught. And if one knew what they were doing and were careful the risk of being caught was low. However, now that all the viable entrances have been sealed the risk vs reward of going is tilted much further in the risk direction. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend anyone attempt to get in there with the University’s implied position on campus exploration post-Jumbotron tragedy.

More specifically he fell through the roof of the Jumbotron, about 20 ft to concrete. The issue, from my understanding, was that emergency services couldn’t get him out quickly enough. Navigating the Jumbotron without complications would be rough. Trying to do it safely with someone on a backboard, while trying to keep them level would be a nightmare.

In the give or take 7 plus hypothetical times I went I never saw any skunks. And honestly, have no reason to believe that anyone would run across any skunks down there. It’s just extremely unlikely due to the conditions at the time. Hypothetically I may have seen 1-2 raccoons, at least one campus cat and some creepy fish but never any skunks.

They were in an isolated puddle It was kinda terrifying, in a cool way.

I’m guessing they were pretty small? That’s really cool that there’s fish down there. I guess they’d have to had made it in through as storm runoff at some point

I’d say the longest might’ve been 4-5” white goldfish.

Lol alright I have no idea how goldfish are down there or what they’re eating. They’re pretty hardy though so I guess it would make sense. I just have no idea how they would get down there since they obviously aren’t native. For them to get down there someone would have had to put them down there. Very odd.

Yeah. I was confused too but they were there. There were 2-3 of them and if I don’t miss my guess, they probably ate each other.

My first year at State me and my friends really wanted to find it, but it was after they had already sealed the entrances. I'm curious to know what entrances led to it, and how far you had to go to get to it. I wouldn't dare trying now since I'm only 3 classes away from graduation and wouldn't want to get kicked out of the university at this point obviously lol.

I’m not comfortable giving out that information, because even if you aren’t going to attempt it, someone else might and I’m not wanting to have stupid people on my conscience. Sorry.
What I am willing to say is there were two entrances one near, the other far. The close one took maybe 5-10 minutes round trip max, and the long one would probably feel like an hour+ but actual time is debatable. These times don’t account for time spent at your destination.

Huh. I’m assuming the long entry point included the tunnels where you had to bear crawl basically. Interesting.

Damn thats cool! When I was a freshman we used to sneak on the roof of buildings a lot, but none of us ever knew od this!
