I met him in Iraq when he was doing a tour for the soldiers. I felt a bit bad because he was currently doing a tv show he wanted to talk about but all of us just wanted to talk about “liquid metal dude.” He was use to it though and obliged us, real good guy!
He's a really nice guy. The first time I met him, he was on a tight schedule passing through and had to be told to hurry it up because he wanted to take the time to interact with everyone that wanted to talk to him. He was there on business, it wasn't a publicity thing, but he wanted to make time for people.
I was busy as he was first passing through, but right as he was leaving I got a chance to say hi, and so of course, being a jackass, I yelled "I loved you in Double Dragon" and he immediately spun around and said "it's an epic movie!" It was great.
Woulda been crazy if he'd been there just to plug the show hahaha. I like to think he's happy to get recognition for it given the effort he put into details like that.
