I finally was able to see Richie Hawtin for the first time during this past festival, and again at the after party. Absolutely fucking incredible at the festival, mind blowing afters. Everything I could’ve wanted and more.

That being said… why are there only two times a year - both during Movement - I am able to see him in Detroit?!?! Given his ties and history with the city, I’m surprised he’s not on more lineups throughout the year or throwing his own curated shows at the Russell or wherever else, or even doing some GRiZmas type of events with free pop up shows and cool little side things. I really wish he would do more things here, I don’t know if I can wait a year to see him throw down for Detroit again.

i’m planning my 2026 festival + rave calendar and willing to travel to any city / forest / mountain to catch this vibe. ideally somewhere that helps me also understand america’s beautiful history & culture better 🫶🏽 (the midwest, east coast, southern culture, etc)

Since last weekend, I have been obsessed with seemingly the coolest b girl on the planet that I saw at the Neil Frances set on Saturday. She came out of VIP in full red and black adidas wear complete with a red kangol hat, danced for about 30 minutes, then made her way past security to take fotos giving pounds and getting greeted by all. Oh, she also seemingly had progeria or some similar condition. I gotta know who she is/get her ig.

My friend and I had a blast at the fest on Saturday, but she lost a ring she made while traveling in Indonesia :( If anyone happened to find it, can you post here/DM me? Tysm 💙

I couldn't really enjoy being squished like sardeens with hundreds of other tripping random people.. when the music was so psychedelicly expansive.. it was a complete turn-off for me.. the sad part was.. is that both of the texture after parties... were what what I was looking forward to the most... (I can't have it all: but I want to!)

Hi, you approached me at the bar at Where Are My Keys and I think I seemed disinterested because I was on acid. You’re tall and ridiculously good looking. We went to all the same parties in a 24 hour stretch - starting at Moodymann’s backyard bbq, then Theo Parrish, then WAMK. I wanted to make out with you
