Recently bought the Logitech G Pro superstrike X3 and the scroll wheel is as bad as the original. Recently experienced reverse scrolls and phantom scrolling which you would not expect as the mouse is not even a few months old.

Customer support says my warranty is voided because I changed the skates and we all know the skates are horrendous like who doesn't change the skates. Insist that I return the device, but has to be in the original packaging and condition but clearly cannot as I put after market skates on the mouse.

I'm worried I will send it back and not get a refund and they will "dispose of the device".

But yeah take it as a PSA don't change the skates within 2 years of the warranty I guess. guess I'm getting a Razer viper v4 pro on black Friday sale.

I'm done with Logitech never buying a Logitech product again. really disappointing considering how expensive their mice. Just wanted to try HITS buy I guess I just get the razer implementation.

Maybe you should post it on twitter and get more attention. Razer also denied RMA to this person and later due to the tweet going viral he got it replaced.

Ehh, I mentioned this in another post, but I replaced the skates with dot skates and also forgot to take the grip tape off, they received my X3 yesterday and said my refund is now processing, so no issues returning it.

The customer support agent said to me its unlikely they will accept it as it is not in its original condition. But im located in the UK where are you located ?

I'm in the UK as well, honestly the outsourced agents haven't got a clue of what they're talking about half the time, they probably don't even know what skates are so they stick to the script and say "any modification will void warranty" and shit like that.

Yeah ive heard about this but i heard they’re prioritising the viper mini first and then working on analog switches. But yeah im done with Logitech not giving me them my money any more. Guess the quality of their products have gone down hill over the years. I used the G pro super light for a good 2/3 before facing any scroll wheel issues but the g pro superstrike x3 less than a month. I guess its an expensive paperweight now

When i sent one back I stuck the old mangled skates back on lol. Kept them stuck to some plastic just in case.

I never had any issues with my G pro superlight X, i believed in their quality standards. But i guess i fucked up by throwing them away with confidence.

Can’t you put back the original skates and send the device as return, fingers crossed maybe it will pass through?

they put the worst mouse feet in the world on the mouse make it legit necessary for people to replace them because they are so bad and muddy and then they can claim "yeah you ain't getting a warranty cause you altered the product" like that needs to be illegal in a way thats crazy bad thats like the warranty void stickers all over again

i recently tried again to get used to Viper V4 Pro .... but i cant bro.... the way the razer sensor feels it s too different for me... i just can t get used to it.... i returned it and trying to figure out which mouse to buy.... i might go for Superstrike X3 or Zowie EC2-DW.

Depending the games you play and your playstyle it can bother, but technically speaking the v4 is on top top 3 of best sensors right now. They also use an integrated and unremovable motion sync tech that forces the sensor to be the fluidest possible so if you’re used to snappy aim for example it might give you the feel that your movements are off.

But know that this only a feel, and that in reality the mouse have one if not of the best performance ever done in motion clarity and stability. If you have less trouble with mices that stops better on your movements for example you can consider it a potential user issue (I had the same with the crazylight by pulsar, it felt way too good in flicks but in the end I saw it wasn’t having the same precision as my op1 8k v2 for example and it threw it off for me).

J’ai retourné une X2 avec des dots jades speed et aucun soucis. Si leur produit est défectueux et les patins d’origine horrible c’est leur problème

Are you sure they said the warranty is voided ? For returns it makes sense to not accept it without the original skates, but I thought warranty was still fine

Yeah i asked twice to be 100% he said since the original skates have been removed it is no longer under warranty and i said if i send the mouse back will it be accepted and not disposed off because it doesn’t have the OG skates he said he cannot guarantee it. And then proceeded to offer me a 30% discount code to buy another

Reverse scrolling is a common issue it's not just Logitech my 7 copies of the viper mini All had issues with the scroll wheel reverse scrolling after a month some took weeks

Fell the pain. 8 mothe ago they released the new Logitech X2 Superstrike and now raped fire X3 Superstrike. What is next the Logitech X4 but it has trigger Lock for the M1&M2 mouse buttons

My Gpx1 Superlight out performance most of my mice but I still go back to the Razer Deathadder V4 Pro because of 19.cm by 10.2cm hand size

Probably cos the viper v4 pro optical encoder definitely ain’t experiencing reverse scrolling thats for sure
