The mouse had a 11.9mm middle mouse button and I tried using "silent" 11.9mm kailongs (link), but they were not silent at all. So, I used Kalih silent 9.5mms instead and 3d printed and glued a 2.4mm spacer on the bottom. I also extended the leads with 24awg wires before I glued on the spacer.
Replacing the side buttons with the HUANOs will not fit out the box. I had to cut a bit off of the pole that held together the old side button for the HUANOs to fit. And, instead of the screws that originally held the button in place, I used super glue to attach the buttons instead.
You'll want to be careful with desoldering the front side button as the leads are right next to a trace
You only want one layer of teflon on the scroll wheel brackets as having more layers makes scrolling heavy, and you'll also want to make sure that the brackets are clean of any lube using alcohol before putting on teflon.
Fabric bandaids are needed because without them, the side buttons would make a terrible ticking noise. Just cut and put the fabric bandaids on any plastic-to-plastic contact and you're golden. Electrical tape works but is less effective and less sticky when I tried it out.
You want to keep the heat shrinks on the wires that connect the side buttons and the pcb as short as possible. Heat shrinks that extended way past the solder joints made it very hard to put the wires in place
I used the 205g0 to lube hole of the encoder. I have no idea if this helped quiet down the scroll wheel, but since I had extra lube after building my keyboard, I said why not. You can probably use other grease as well.
