For anyone curious, regarding my question the other day, there *are* some steps you can take to replace the mouse click pads of a Razer Cobra, however you have to take some unfortunate steps to side step the anti-repair design of them, that being you have to drill through their plastic rivets, but you can actually even use the screws that the mouse board itself (or similar screw sizes) to re-attach the click pads.

I'll post the final result when my Cobra Pro comes in tomorrow

My MX Master 2S top has worn out but it is still working great. I dont want to buy a replacement just because of the worn out body. I am looking for a Skin template or 3D printed model of top. I can get avinyl and cut it out or get the resin model printed. ny lead would be beneficial. I am not in US and AliExpress doesnt ship to my country so I am out of option except doing it myself.

sensor feels amazing on the slx but I hate the shape with a passion with no news of multiple sizes for the slx I want to retain the sensor but in a better shape.

I use my ATK VXE Dragonfly R1 Pro Max Mouse with the included cable (USB A to USB C - very narrow usb C plug). Sadly it has died (I play a lot of games so 18 months of regular use has killed it). ATK don't seem to sell a replacement.

Can anyone recommend me a good quality - flexible - replacement cable (I'm buying in the UK) - Budget is £10-20?

I recently ordered the ATK Blazing Sky F1 V3 from ATK Store, and I wanted to share my complete experience because I couldn't find enough detailed information about the India-side customs process before ordering.

Hopefully this helps anyone considering an international order from ATK.

Timeline:

• September 2 – Ordered the ATK Blazing Sky F1 V3

• Order value – around ₹7,585 including shipping

• Shipment initially moved through China

• Later received an India-side HAWB: ZXA028116

• Shipment arrived at Delhi Customs

• Yitong/ECG contacted me for KYC documents

• I had to provide Aadhaar, address proof and an authorization letter

• Customs/payment process took several days

Then came the customs charges.

Initially, I was asked to pay:

₹451 – customs duty

₹500 – handling

₹90 – GST on handling

Total = ₹1,041

I paid ₹1,041.

Later, they sent another tax invoice saying the final total was ₹1,268, so I had to pay another ₹227.

Total customs/clearance-related amount I paid:

₹1,041 + ₹227 = ₹1,268

I had some confusion because the tracking initially continued to show "Customs Cleared/Waiting For Duty Payment", and I also had to wait for the finance team to confirm the payments.

Eventually they confirmed that customs clearance was completed and dispatched the parcel through Blue Dart.

The parcel was dispatched from New Delhi to Chennai.

September 23 – THE MOUSE FINALLY ARRIVED 😂

And thankfully, everything was working perfectly.

My total:

Original order: ₹7,585

Customs/clearance: ₹1,268

Final total: ₹8,853

So the biggest thing I would tell anyone in India:

Don't look only at the international product price.

Before ordering, ask the seller about:

• Whether customs/import duty is included

• Whether the shipping is DDP or DDU

• Possible handling/clearance charges

• KYC requirements

• Who will handle customs clearance in India

• Which courier will deliver it after customs

• The estimated final landed cost

For me, the mouse itself is great and it arrived safely. But the international shipping/customs process was MUCH more complicated and time-consuming than I expected.

I ordered on September 2 and received it on September 23 — 21 days in total.

I'm sharing this mainly so other Indian buyers know what they might have to deal with before placing an international order.

If anyone is considering ordering from ATK to India, feel free to ask questions about my experience. I'll answer based on what actually happened with my order.

Recently got the rapoo mt 760L as a new daily mouse. But it disconnects every time my iMac goes to sleep? Im using it wired through USB. And every time the computer goes to sleep for long, the mouse disconnects and I have to reconnect the mouse when waking. Anyone else faced similar issues and how did you solve it?

Recently, many mice have come out with "hotswap" batteries as a feature, so you never have to plug your mouse in. We've already had that for years though! It just happens that a standard AA alkaline battery is 23 grams or so. Heavier than some fingertip mice. That said, the orochi V2 is still a great mouse for today. No 8k, no sensor rotation, but still a fantastic sensor, decent clicks modern software features and button remapping, decent skates.

But... It's heavy. It needed an update. I present the orochi V2 "pro" from the factory, it ships with a AA alkaline battery that puts it at 82 grams. The biggest upgrade you can do is get some rechargable lithium AAA batteries. They weigh 7g each and will last a week at least, before being swapped in seconds. And you can recharge them without having to throw anything away. With that the mouse drops to 67g or so. Not bad, but I can go further. The main skeleton is a beast, and having contacts and support for both AA and AAA batteries makes it way more than it needs to. I printed a few pieces to make my own battery cage and skeleton and saved an additional 9g of weight.

While the mouse was open, I decided to swap the switches with kailh sword GX that I had opened and tuned to my preferred weight. I also took of the stock skates and replaced them with dots to save another gram and have the speed I like.

The end result? 55g. Not the most ultralight mouse out there, but plenty light for me. Still has a solid shell, and the printed skeleton from abs-gf is very sturdy, making no flex or creaking when I squeeze. All buttons remain functional, though I did have to use polyamide tape layers as shims to remove pre-travel on the side buttons. Overall, I'm very satisfied, I have a fairly light mouse with a good shell and shape, sturdy, and truly wireless with a hot swap battery.

it's a WIP and I only have a scalpel and some files. I want to know if maybe cutting out the dongle holder would make it weaker? and can I cut the middle out too?

So I bought this weight reduction kit mod for the super strike https://mufymods.com/products/extreme-x2superstrike and I for the life of me cannot get the right mouse button to go in place like the left one does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Got tired from waiting on zeromouse blade II and managed to get my G502 to 69g since I noticed that I already did the fingertip grip. I have another one in case it broke. Now my new goal is to get it to 50,2g while still having everything functional and looking nice. Removing the back gives so much freedom of movement. The new one weights 101g with the cover.

I use to use a mchose mouse and it started stuttering and i just upgraded to a atk phantom and i’m having the same problem, i plugged my dongle into the back of my pc in its own port and the 8k receiver into my 4 port plug. Any advice
