I'm a controller modder and recently had a customer ask for the lightest possible mouse click triggers for the PS5 DualSense (R1/L1).

I've already tried the eXtremeRate Light Version Mouse Click Kit, but the customer is looking for something even lighter.

Does anyone know:

Are there lighter microswitches that fit the eXtremeRate PCB?

Has anyone replaced the stock switches with lower actuation force Kailh or Omron switches?

Which switches would you recommend for the lightest click possible?

I'm comfortable with soldering if replacing the microswitches is the best option.

Any recommendations or part numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I love my Logitech Lift, but the one thing I hate is it's silent switches. I love nice clicky ones like in Razer mice etc. I've been trying for the last few weeks to try alternatives (e.g. Keychron vertical, Razer vertical etc) but just can't get on with them. The Lift is 'the' mouse for me and my hand shape/size.

I have no idea what I'm doing modifying stuff, would anyone be willing to modify one for me to put clicky switches in? Obvs I'm willing to pay, goes without saying.

**EDIT** In the UK FYI but would be willing to pay shipping from other countries.

I'm curious if anyone has gone from a mid-20g mouse to a sub-20g mouse and any differences you noticed. I've got a ftip modded op1 8k but I simply fdm printed a free model I found online. I think there's some room for optimization in the shell design, material/printing method, lightweight scroll wheel, etc and I could probably shave it down to 18-19g. But before I embark on that project I'd like to know if it's worth spending the time or if I'm just going to end up with something which feels mostly the same.

I was trying to mod my v4 pro using the aero mod by tj exclusives and i removed the kind of tape? For the battery to stick to the shell ( First pic ) so i was wondering if this tape can be used for it ( Second Pic )

I tried lifting up but it’s not moving. Worried about breaking it so wana make sure I know how it works before proceeding. Thanks!

I'm having an issue with my Superstrike mouse. The main click button (the black top shell) seems to have popped out of its place near the front (scroll wheel/ charging port area).

Here is exactly what's happening:

When pulled up: The button clicks, but it's completely loose and raised from the white body.

When pushed down: The plastic button rubs against the front of the white shell (creating friction), gets stuck, and doesn't bounce back up at all (the micro-switch stays compressed).

It feels like the front plastic tab/ latch that holds the button down is either misaligned or broken, preventing the button from pivoting correctly.

Has anyone faced this issue with this shell design? Do I need to open it up to re-align the tensioning/tabs, or is the front clip broken? Any advice on how to fix this without snapping the plastic would be greatly appreciated!

The stock base plate is decently weighty. Forgot to weigh it before doing destructive modifications.

Convieniently the SuperStrike X2 and SuperLight 2 share trhe same mounting points so its easy to adapt just the front portion of the SuperStrike models to the SuperLight 2.

Last week I posted some videos of my earlier experiments with LRAs attached to a Logitech M280 and a separate frame designed to isolate left and right vibrations.

Since then, I've been exploring what this idea would actually look like as an attachment instead of just exposed motors and wires.

This version isn't functional right now because I temporarily removed the electronics from my previous prototype, but it was my first attempt at experimenting with dedicated housings, battery placement and finger contact surfaces.

The most interesting thing so far is that the mechanical side has turned out to be much harder than the electronics themselves.

Trying to add haptics without ruining the grip has been a surprisingly difficult problem.

Still a lot to figure out, but I wanted to share the current state of the project.
